Governor Vacancies at Bampton CE Primary School

Bampton CE Primary School has vacancies for community governors.

Becoming a school governor is a great way to shape and support the future of a school and its pupils. You would be required to attend between 6 and 10 meetings per year (mostly in the evenings), and will be provided with excellent free training to support your role. Meetings can be attended in person or via remote access. Additionally, you would be mentored by an experienced governor and encouraged to carry out visits to the school with a focus/specific role to be determined.

The function of the board is to act strategically for the school and its future, to hold leaders to account, and provide financial probity.
