SPAJERS Summer Outing

SPAJERS have had a busy summer!

In mid August two coach loads of Bampton Pensioners were treated to a fantastic outing.

Two magnificent boats were hired at Stratford Upon Avon boat yard and everyone enjoyed a serene cruise down the Avon out of the city and into the local majestic countryside.

A delicious packed lunch was provided for each shipmate ( huge thanks to Louise Williams for making all of these!) and fortunately they more than sustained us for the one and a half hour trip!

Feedback on the day was incredibly positive and of course a massive vote of thanks must go to Kirsty Davis for her brilliant organisation of the day as well as the many SPAJERS volunteers who gave up their day to ensure everything went smoothly and everyone was counted on and counted off the excursion!!
