DVLA Scam Emails

If you receive an email reporting your vehicle tax has expired its more than likely a scam. Its a common scam doing the rounds at the moment. Don't be fooled.

You should not click on any links within the email.

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) will not contact you via text or email to ask for personal or payment details.

If you need to check your car tax status, go to the official government website directly or check through official means, not by clicking links in suspicious messages. 

If you know someone that this scam could affect please tell them. The email has official government logos and looks legitimate.

 

If you get this email in your mailbox

Delete it. 

DO NOT click on the links or reply to it.
